This work of historical fiction, entitled as Listen to the Walls Talk, tells the story of a father and a son whose goal is to unveil a series of secrets regarding their own family and dramatic events throughout history that have led humanity to a dangerous state. It is the product of the collaboration between the father, Norberto Nardi, and the daughter, Moira Nardi and as such, it reflects the two fields that the authors come from: architecture and psychology.
Through a series of interconnected vignettes, the novel written during the pandemic period, takes readers across crucial moments in human history, from the African origins of civilization to the intellectual renaissance of ancient Athens, the intrigue of the Han Dynasty, and the rise of revolutionary movements in Europe.
Each chapter serves as a portal into a different era, offering deeply researched historical details, philosophical introspection, and a compelling narrative voice that keeps readers engaged.
